About the Project
This cheese tray and knife was a gift for my wife’s parents for Christmas 2016. We have a wonderful relationship with them, and it was fun to make this tray and knife.
Tools and Materials
Wood: Cherry
Finish: 4:1 ratio of Mineral Oil and Beeswax (Sourced locally from 3 Bee Farms)
Tools Used: Bandsaw, Table Saw, Pull Saw, Dremel, Belt Sander

The little branded tags gave a professional touch to the gifts, and were really fun to design and include with the gift
The edges were given a gentle radius on the bandsaw, and then the handles were routed out with a cove bit.
The feet were also made from cherry, and glued to the bottom of the tray.
